A total of 556 abstracts and 401 manuscripts were submitted to this Symposium, and 336 papers were finally accepted after a strict review process conducted by the International Scientific Committee of the Symposium. The topics of the symposium covered a wide spectrum related to design , analysis , testing , construction, maintenance and upgrading of structures, structural materials , disaster prevention, etc. This two volume proceedings include 14 keynote presentations and invited papers and 322 conference papers
