¡¾Introduction¡¿
The present volume contains the Proceedings of the XII International Workshop on ¡°Neutrino Telescopes¡± which was held in Venice from March 6 to March 9, 2007 at the ¡°Istituto Veneto di Scienze, Lettere ed Arti¡±. This Workshop was the XII in the ¡°Neutrino Telescopes¡± series in 1988 with the aim to bring together theorists and experimentalists working on the many aspects of the neutrino physics. Once more particle physicists, astrophysicists and cosmologists, all captivated by the fascinating neutrino properties, properties, were brought together. The XII Workshop was dedicated to the ¡°Supernova 1978A neutrino bursts discovery¡±, The first Workshop day was then devoted to: neutrinos, cosmology and astrophysics, results and new programmers. It was pointed out that we are entering the era of precision tests, where new facilities and detectors are coming into the game and will play a fundamental role
