Atlas of Mammals, Amphibians and Reptiles in Hubei Wufenghou River National Nature Reserve为了全面调查后河保护区野生动植物资源，获取翔实的资源本底信息，掌握重要物种动态变化规律，分析其生境与受威胁的主要因素，为保护区培养一批能独立完成资源调查、鉴定和资料整理的技术人员，以中国林业科学研究院森林生态环境与自然保护研究所（以下简称“森环森保所”）为主的科研机构，自2017年在后河保护区开始了为期4年的本底资源调查。调查时采用数据采集应用程序（APP）开展野外数据收集，建立了后河保护区监测平台。本书为兽类和两栖爬行类动物图册，共有三部分，分别是两栖类、爬行类和兽类。
