 Atlas of Wild Birds in Kashgar, Xinjiang, China, More than 280 species described.  2010 年，喀什一批致力于生态环境保护的人们自发成立了喀什观鸟会，历经两年多时间，喀什观鸟会成员拍摄收集了几万张图片，从中精选出280余种喀什的鸟，在喀什摄影爱好者谢林冬的力推和编撰下，出版了《中国·新疆喀什野生鸟类图鉴》，全书以严谨的治学态度介绍了生活在喀什的鸟儿们。他希望这本书能成为青少年的科普读物，让每一个孩子都熟知喀什的鸟儿，并通过孩子们讲述鸟儿的故事，唤起人们保护鸟类、保护生态环境的意识。
