This book deals with 172 species belonging to 49 genera, 7 subfamilies, among of them 9 new species, covering the area Xizang, Qinghai and part of the Sichuan as well as Yunnan provinces.  It describes morphological characteristics,Genitalia structure, host, and distribution to each species. 《青藏高原瓢虫》所记述的就是以西藏、青海为主体的瓢虫的发生研究概况、发生特点和形态特征。记述了发生于西藏、青海的瓢虫种类，包括发生于云南、四川等部分属于青藏高原范围的瓢虫。共涉及7个亚科11个族49个属172种。其中新种9种，中国新纪录种2种。新种的模式标本全部保存在西藏自治区农牧科学院标本室。
