The first volume of this book serial included a total of four classes,32orders,386families,3147genera,and 10106 species. The second volume included a total of four classes,29orders,357 families,2681 genera, and 8385 species. This volume includes a total of four classes5orders,231 families,957generaand 763 species. In presenting the taxonomy, the same style as in the previous two volumes was followed .The four Class system of Hexopoda was considered. In recent years ,the rapid development of systematics and phylogeny made apparent that the accepted classification system was unstable .Especially there were any inconsistencies at higher taxonomic levelssuch as at the level of family and order. However, this only underscored the need to correct and revise the definitions of and memberships within taxonomic families in accordance with the latest reaearch resules. In this case ,there will be a chance some species in the book were arranged in a family that is different from the one published in the original article. In the same style as the firsttwo volumes, subfamily level was not considered and high-ranking taxon were arranged according to the system order. The genera and species were arranged in alphabetical order。
