The Paleontological Study of Dinosaur and Turtle Fossil Eggs from Zhejiang Province, China,This book briefly describes geological settings of Zhejiang Province, discusses the dinosaur eggs and turtle eggs of Zhejiang, clutches, branch sequence analysis, eggs with the correlation of Cretaceous strata. It has an abound content, represents the highest level ever studied for dinosaur eggs and turtle eggs of Zhejiang, and has important value for the scientific research, strengthening the protection of these nonrenewable natural heritages and expanding famous degree of Zhejiang.
Totally thirteen oospecies of eight oogenera and six oofamilies of dinosaur eggs were described in this paper. They are: 1. Oofamily Elongatoolithidae: Macroelongatoolithus xixiaensis, Elongatoolithus sp.; 2. Oofamily Faveoloolithidae:Faveoloolithus zhangioosp.nov.; 3. Oofamily Dictyoolithidae: Dictyoolithus hongpoensis, Dictyoolithus jiangi; 4. Oofamily Dendroolithidae: Dongyangoolithus nanmaensis oogen. et oosp.nov., Placoolithus tiantaiensis oosp.nov., Dendroolithus sp., Dendroolithus xichanen-sis; 5. Oofamily Spheroolithidae: Paraspheroolithus irenensis, Paraspheroolithus yangchengensis; 6. Oofamily Prismatoolithidae: Prismatoolithus hukouensis, Prismatoolithus sp.. Among these oospecies, oney new oogenus and three new oospecies were established: some diagnoses of oofamilies, oogenera and oospecies were revised.
