Disease and Insect Pests of Oaks in China (I)本书以栎类病虫害为出发点，通过调查、采集、饲养、鉴定，历时3年时间明确了可危害栎类植物的害虫157种，病害52种，均辅以彩图来展示其形态或危害状。同时，为了更好了解国外栎类植物重要的危险性有害生物，通过对国内外文献整理、筛选，共总结出栎类外来危险性病虫害45种，并针对栎树疫霉猝死病菌Phytophthora ramorum等7种重要检疫性有害生物，在广泛收集和分析生物学、生态学及其他相关资料的基础上，用定性以及定量方法进行了风险评估。
