The present work compries of two parts: the first part is a general account of the Class Protura, it consists of eight chapters:
1.Abrief introduction to the research history

6.Phylogeny and zoogeography
7.systems of Classification
8.Methods of techniques
The second part compiles a systematic account of Chinese Protura. A total of 164 species of Protura from China were described. They are belonging to 34 genera and grouped into 9 families and 3 orders.
