Doryctinae is one of the largest subfamilies of Braconidae, Hymenoptera. Many of the species are ectoparasitoids of larval of Coleoptera and Lepidoptera. It is an important parasitoids which can control and alleviate the damage of hosts. This monograph deals with the systematic studies on the subfamily Dorycitnae from China. The authors investigate about 3000 specimens of Dorctinae from some important Natural Protection Area of China. In this monograph, 16 genera and 138 species are noted, including 1 new genera, 47 new species, and 10 new-recorded species. In the general account, the taxonomic history, current taxonomic notes, morphology, biology, prospect for application, methods for collection, identifying and preserving the specimens are reviewed. In the systematic account, keys are presented to genera and species. Under each genus, the generic synonym, systematic history and present systematic status, diagnostic characters, distribution and biology are reviewed and discussed. All the species available. After the systematic account, the literature city in the book is listed, a list of the known Chinese species of the subfamily Doryctinae with their hosts and distribution is provided.
