The compilation of the Flora Bryophytorum Sinicorum is a complex work involving the systematics, phyto-relationships, phyto-resources, geographic distribution pattems, habitats, nomenclature, specimens citations, illustrations etc. all are included if necessary.

 

This volume provides descriptions and illustrations that have hithero been recorded in China. Nomenclature follows Index Muscorum (van der Wijk et al., 1959-1969), the Chinese-Han’s nomenclature which follows Genera Muscorum Sinicorum (Vol.I-II) (P.C, Chen & P.C. Wu, 1963, 1984)
