This book is written in accordance with requirement of the new IMO STCW Code, 1995. It systematically describes the way of using the International Code of Signals ,the methods of marine signaling and radiotelephony. Along with technological development, voice communication becomes more and more important. For this reason, Part III, Marine radiotelephone communication, is the key part of this book. Some practical aspects such as telephoning in VIS water-areas ,in SAR operations, in collision avoidance, in the ship`s reporting system and so on are also emphasized .Some exercises and oral drills with audio tapes and CD are appended.
