The trilobites described in this monograph were collected in 1982 – 1988 from 10 detailed Cambrian sections in the Liaodong Peninsula and Taizihe Valley. The trilotes described here include 41 families and subfamilies. 101 genera and subgenera and 189 species, among which 5 genera and 57 species are described as new. Correlations of the Cambrian biostratigraphic scheme of E. Liaoning with those of North China, NW China, SW China, SE China, Australia, Kazakhstan, N. America and Scandinavia are given. Major lithofacies and biofacies patterns indicate that two distinct depositional regimes are recognized in E. Liaoning – a southern shelf bordering the Precambrian craton and a northern epicontinential sea.
