This book introduces the Old Silk Road, an ancient trade channel from China to South Asia and West Asia via Central Asia, as well as to Europe and North Africa. It also points out that since ancient times cultural exchanges have been conducted through this road . Through it , four ancient civilizations – Chinese , Indian, Western Asian, and Greek and Roman civilizations – had direct exchanges and influences.
