本书系中国园艺学会猕猴桃分会学术及产品发展研讨会论文集，是继《猕猴桃研究进展》前三集之后出版的第四集。全书共分为资源及保护利用、育种与新品种试验、高效栽培与病虫害防治、生物技术与生理生化、贮藏保鲜与深加工、国内外市场开拓、新技术应用七个专题，较全面地反映了国内及世界猕猴桃主产国近年来猕猴桃研究与产业发展的动态。
