As one of China¡¯s well-known virgin forest zones, Shennongjia, which cover an area of 3 250km2, is situated in the northwestern part of Hubei province. With an idea of introducing Shennongjia to the friends both at home and abroad, with lengthy written descriptions and 424 nice photos, this book will show, in an extensive and systematic way, all the details about Shennongjia, including its natural appearance, bio-resources, history and culture, local conditions and customs, and social development.
