This volume collects 124 papers being presented at the
4th ISHT, Beijing, Oct.7-11,1996. It includes 10 invited keynote lectures
of well-known scholars in the world heat transfer community and a total
of 114 general scientific papers on different topics selected from about
250 preliminary abstracts submitted for review. All the papers were printed
from the camera-ready manuscripts supplied by the authors. So, the editor
assumes no responsibilities for the accuracy and completeness of the typing
itself. Also, the volume is prepared before the Conference, and hence,
it is unable to include the results of discussions during the Conference.
The contributors Came from about 20 countries, including Algeria, Australia,
Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Lithuania,
Norway, Poland, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, UK, Ukraine and USA.
