The symposium was sponsored by Chinese Society of Theoretical
and Applied Mechanics and co-sponsored by , the American Society for Composites
(ASC), The Chinese Society for Composite Materials, British composites
Society, Canadian Association for Composite Structures and Materials,
Japan Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics. This proceeding contains
