The tetragnathid spiders, also called " long jawed spiders" are important natural enemies of insect pests in farmland and forest. The present monograph deals with the systematics of the family Tetragnathidae from China. A total of 20 genera and 111 species are described in this volume, of which 2 subfamilies and 41 species are new to science, 4 genera and 10 species are newly recorded from China
