【Introduction】
The Check List of Hong Kong Plants is an important reference to the diverse flora of Hong Kong and serves the needs of botanists, scientists, teachers, horticulturists, conservationists and amateurs.
The 2004 edition recorded 3164 plant species and varieties. Besides the addition of new records and nomenclatural amendments, this edition also provides information on the habits of the plant species. A new section of colour plates displaying some representative examples of Hong Kong flora has also been included.
