【Introduction】
     Included in this volume are mainly three topics of monsoon, mesoscale numerical simulation and atmospheric environment, the first two topics are following Vols.1 and 2 of this series, and the third topic, i.e., the atmospheric environment, is our new direction under study due to the increasing significance of atmospheric environment to mankind. A great number of articles in the volume are the collaboration research achievements with professors from the Sun Yat-sen University. The fourth part contains the extended abstracts for papers which were presented at the international of national symposia or seminars as well as the regional professional cooperation workshops by the MMGB.
