Abstract
This volume of animals of Hebei deals with the Order Araneae, Class Arachnida,
Subphylum Chelicerata, Phylum Arthropoda. A total of 141 genera, 296 species
belonging to 2 suborders and 34 families are described in this issue.
Three species of the family Salticidae are new to science: Harmochirus
proszynski, Pseudicius wesolowskae and Pseudicius zabkae, One species
of the family Linyphiidae, Meioneta palgongsanensis, is new record from
China:

For each of the species included in this volume, the following topics
are treated: scientific nomenclature, description of females or males
or both, and geographical destribution, with emphasis on distributional
localities in Hebei Province, including the municipalities Beijing and
Tianjin.
