Nansha Islands, China's only sea region close to the equator, is abundant
in Indo-Malay tropical fauna with high biodiversity. Fishes living in
the vast sea regions from Nansha Islands northward to Xisha Islands, Zhongsha
Islands, Dongsha Islands, waters off Hainan Island, Beibu Gulf and South
China coastal waters, are complex in species biodiversity and variable
