The Workshop was focused on four main types of natural disasters:Physical Meteorological and Oceanic; Seismic and Geological; Biological Impacts; and Comprehensive Disaster Management. Those topics included in the Workshop proceedings, represent the current situations and latest developments in natural disaster reduction and mitigation both in the United States and the People’s Republic of China.
