Cretaceous-Tertiary sporo-pollen grains from Anhui are studied in this
paper, 127 genera and 273 species are found, of which 1 genus, 21 species
and 1 combined species are known as new to science.
Among the palynological assemblages of Hefei basin, Nanling basin, Tianchang
region, Wangjiang basin and Niquiji depressian researched, the palynological
assemblages of Hefei basin is the most representative, and may be divided
into 10 spores and pollen zones in Cretaceous-Tertiary, they represent
the paleovegetational feature and the climatic condition at each period.
