In Songliao basin, Crtaceous deposits were extensively
distributed, ostracods, pelecypods, fish, gastropods, plant and algae
fossils, especially abundant conchostracans were found to occur in the
Denglonku-Mingshui group. They were mainly collected from Qingshankou
and Nenjiang formation. The fossil Conchostracans dealt with in this monograph
contain 169 species in 32 genera, 10 families, of which 81 species, 7
genera are new to science.
