This work deals with the spores and pollen grains collected from Jiangsu(mainly in northern Jiangsu) in the past decade. In accordance with the concept of organic genera and species, 165 genera and 462 species are described, including 79 new species and many new combinations. Their possible relationships are presented.
In this paper discussions are made of the characteristics of the palynological assemblages and their geological age ranging from Cretaceous to Tertiary, with a preliminary explanation of the vegetational feature and the climatic condition at each period.…..
