More than one hundred samples were taken from the type section, half of
them being productive.The palynological assemblage contains over 140 species
and assigned to 83 genera, of which 14 genera and 85 species are new.
These new genera are: Equisetitriletes, Synasesporites, Seritriletes,
Agastospora, Catenulasporites, Orientalisporites, Labrorugaspora, Mitraesportites,
Ityospora, Tauresporites, Neotuberculatisporites, Viburamegspora, Sichuanpollenites
and Conovalipollis.
