The decision-makers pay great attention to a study of pilot tests during
all stages of waterflooding development in Daqing oilfield. Many pilot
tests have been conducted from the 1960s to the 1990s, including the whole
process of waterflooding development, replaced stabilizing oil production,
infill drilling adjustment, dense well pattern adjustment test of injection-production
system in Gaotaizi reservoir, secondary infill drilling, commercial development
of the UOR and polymer flooding pilot tests. These provide a series of
methods and experiences for the long and stable oil production in Daqing
oilfield. This book makes briefings about some important pilot tests and
measures. We hope it would give some contributions to the management and
