This book is a proceedings of "International Conference on Quaternary of High-Mountainous Region (ICQMR). It is considered by the excellent papers to pick carefully out from more than 70 papers that Chinese and foreign authors provided to the ICQMR after the Academic programs Committee of ICQMR reviewed. The book gathers more than 30 papers including those from Russia, Ireland, England, China and Taiwan. The contents are mainly on the research of environmental change and quaternary theory or applying. But there are the research of Quaternary studied methods and education in the book, too. The objects of the research take regional as the dominant factor, are maily Asia, but there also are Europe
