This is the second volume of Fauna Sinica dealing with the marine gammaridean Amphipoda. It is a continuity of the first volume. In this volume,198 species belonging to 25 families and 85 genera are given.39 new species and 2 new genera are described,78 species are recorded for the first time from the Chinese seas.The type specimens of new species are deposited in the Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences at Qingdao.
