中华人民共和国区域地质调查报告(1:250000康西瓦幅J44C004001)》取得的重大地质成果及认识如下:
(1)本次区调首次在图区南部康西瓦断裂南侧巴颜喀拉地层区大红柳滩地层分区,原划三叠系克勒青河群(T3Kl)中解体出了一套古元古代变质岩系,根据变质变形特征,结合区域对比,新建立为古元古代康西瓦岩群(Pt1K)构造岩石地层单位。
(2)本次区调首次在图区中南部蒙古包-普守一带发现早古生代蛇绿构造混杂岩带。该带向西延伸到赛图拉一带被康西瓦一苏巴什蛇绿构造混杂岩带截切,向东延伸到图幅边与库地-其曼于特早古生代蛇绿构造混杂岩带合拼。发育大量的蛇纹石化纯橄岩、云母二辉岩、辉长岩、蚀变辉绿岩、玄武岩夹硅质岩、中基性熔岩及英云闪长岩等岩石组合。依据野外地质特征及岩石组合建造,初步确定为一个蛇绿混杂岩带,暂命名为蒙古包一普守早古生代蛇绿构造混杂岩带。该蛇绿构造混杂岩带的发现,进一步证实了西昆仑是由多个块体、蛇绿混杂岩、增生杂岩楔和边缘建造组成的复杂拼合体。
(3)本次区调对图区侵入岩进行了系统的地质学、岩石学、岩石地球化学、同位素年代学等方面的综合分析研究,划分出了37个侵入体,归并为24个填图单元。进一步按其所处的构造空间位置、成因和形成时代,建立了与调查区构造演化密切配套的7个构造-岩浆岩带。
(4)本次区调首次系统地对图区侵入岩做了大量的同位素测年工作,获得了单矿物锆石SHRIMP U-Pb法同住素年龄7件,单矿物锆石U-Pb法同位素年龄3件,共计10组同位素年龄数值。
(5)本次区调新发现北昆仑库尔良晚古生代铜(镍)硫化物成矿带,已经发现铜矿点4处,扩大了原有矿产地的找矿范围,为进一步成矿作用研究和矿产勘查提供了重要的资料。
