Based on to the studies of many years this book described the spore pollen and algae distribution patters in the surface sediment of the East China Sea, divided into 8 spor-pollen and algae regions, constructed 8 sporopllen and algae assemblages in the East China Sea since the Late Pleistocene which revealed the climate multifluctuations of cold and warm of cold and humid-warm-cold and dry-cool and slightly drytemperate cool-hot warm and humid-temperate and slightly DR-warm and humid and process of marine transgression and regression.
