Ex Situ Cultivated Flora of China (Magnoliaceae),1、本书收录国内11个植物园迁地保育的国内外木兰科植物11属147种（包括亚种、变种和杂交种），。物种拉丁名主要依据《中国植物志》第三十卷第一分册和《中国木兰》；属、种均按拉丁名字母顺序排列。首次使用的中文名，后面加注"新拟"二字。2、概述部分简要介绍木兰科植物的相关知识，内容包括木兰科分类、分布及资源概况、研究与引种栽培史、杂交育种与新品种选育、繁殖与栽培技术要点及推广应用情况。3、每种植物介绍其所属的中文名、拉丁名、别名、自然分布、迁地栽培形态特征、引种信息、物候、迁地栽培要点和主要用途，并附彩色照片。
