Fauna Sinica Insecta Vol.60 Hemiptera Hormaphididae Phloeomyzidae  The present work of the Aphidoidea Fauna of China was undertaken under the auspices of the Fauna Editorial Committee, the Chinese Academy of Sciences. This Volume comprises two parts.

Part I includes six chapters, taxonomic status, study history and taxonomic systems; the comparative morphology of aphids; the evolution of chaetotaxy of embryo and posterior embryo; biological characteristics of Hormaphididae; species diversity of Hormaphididae; the zoogeographical distribution of Hormaphididae; the materials and methods.

In Part II, a total of 102 species of family Hormaphididae from China are reviewed. They belong to 30 genera which are grouped into 3 subfamilies as follows: Cerataphidinae, Hormaphidinae, Nipponaphidinae. The family Phloeomyzidae is a monotype family, is represented by one genus and one species in world and in China.
