TLC Atlas of Traditional Chinese Patent Medicines in Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China (Vol.1)薄层色谱鉴别为《中国药典》一部中成药鉴别方法。与中药材薄层鉴别不同，中成药因含有多个药味，其鉴别关注的是阴性无干扰情况下至数个特征斑点，但不一定是对照药材全部的特征斑点。然而一个复杂的、尤其是成分未明而斑点较多的中成药薄层色谱，往往是很难用文字描述的。实际工作中检验者有时难以准确把握鉴别的关键点及评判的尺度，加上个人操作的差异以及环境温湿度等对色谱效果的影响较大，均有可能影响中成药真伪的结果判别。为使药典标准能得到有效的执行，国家药典委员会会同广州市药品检验所编撰《中国药典》部分中成药薄层色谱彩色图集，以提供直观的图谱给应用者参考。
