The present book is a taxonomic study of the Chinese Nirvaninae (Homoptera: Cicadellidae), it includes introduction and taxonomy two parts. Firstly, the phylogeny, taxonomic resume, zoogeography, economic importance, materials andmethods, and taxonomic characters of the subfamily Nirvaninae are introduced and discussed. Secondly, It is a taxonomic study of the Nirvaninae from China. Totally 4 tribe, 15 genera and 70 species are treated in the book, of which 15 species are new to science.
