In this book, 385 species of parasitic trematoda are described in Zhejiang province, of them, 195 species belonging to class Monogenea, 4 species to class Aspidogastrea, 186 species to class Trematoda.

 

A survey of the research history, fauna and geographical distribution of the trematoda in Zhejiang province, the morphology of trematoda in Zhejiang province, the morphology of trematoda and relationship between human and trematoda are made in the general description of this book.

A detail taxonomic description about the main clarcteristics of everyone of 385 species and 51 families 123 geneus including keys to their identification with providing a great amount of knowledge about biology, ecology, pathogenic agents, zoogeographic distribution and harmfulness to human of these species.
