There are many categories of natural disasters in Chinese railways, and their happening frenquences are very high. Therefore, it is hard to estimate the caused loss. This book emphatically explores the survey, forming conditions of natural disasters in sections and chapters separately, including floodwater, collapse, slide, debris folws,drifting sand, frozen soil and the earthquake. It was complied of the developing laws of various disasters drawn by many experts engaged in the prevention and cure of disasters in the railway authoritative departments for a long time, researching achievements and pratical experience in preventing and curing ways and actual project examples.
