In this book, copper deposit of China, 110 main copper deposits selected from 146 medium-large-sized copper deposits of China are compiled, and their basic features, as geological settings, ore composition, ore-forming conditions and ore prospecting indicators are described accompanied with a series of geological maps and sections.

There are four parts in this book. In part one , the exploration and development history of copper deposits in China during the past 50 years were reviewed and generalized. In part two, general characteristics of individual copper deposit are introduced. In part three, their spatial and temporal distribution and the evolution pattern of various genetic types as well as the relationship between copper metallogenesis and strata, structures and magmatism were discussed, according to their metallogenic types. In the last part, the copper potential of China and the exploration approaches were discussed.
