The conodonts described and illustrated herein, amount to 174 species in 64 genera, of which 4 genera and 60 species and subspecies are new forms. A tentative correlation table is given in the Chinese text.

Biogeographic differentiation of conodonts in the Cambrian time is not clear. While most conodonts of Ordovician and Carboniferous in North China and the adjacent regions are closely similar to those in North American mid-continent area, as more clearly defined since the Lower Majiagou epoch.
