This book involuve 2 parts, among which the “bridge culture” is titled as “ introduction” and put in the 1st Palace of volume, in which some chinese antique brideges,the brideges completed before 1991 and have been designed but without construction or just constructed, as well as some special bridges, also some forgign asmous bridges are involved and some things of 3 outstanding experts on bridge and the relation between them and the editor are mentioned. In the main body of this book, more than 40 bridges with various types (including those in Hong Kong and Taiwan) completed in 1991 and later on are introduced, among which some are worldwide records or were. In this book there are enumerated a lot of coloured engineering photos, courtesy of friends from all sides. So this book can be referred by relative technical and researching personals, also may provide the reference for relative leaders as they make policy.
