Late Triassic Flora from Tianqiaoling of Jilin, China. The present study grew out of finding the aboundant plant fossils from Tianqiaoling Town of eastern Jilin Province, NE China where is about 120 km from the border between China and Russia and is about 150km from the Mongugai Coal-Mine, the locality of Late Triassic Mongugai flora of Primorye, Russin well-known paleobotanically in the world, made by the author with his colleagues of the Regional Geological Survey of Jilin in 1977.Afterwards, the author has continuously collected a lot of plant fossils and investigated the flora and itsbiostratigraphy of the Tianqiaoling area with assistance of his colleagues. The present fossil plants were collected from the sedimentary beds intercalated in volcanic rocks which include the much fossiliferous Malugou Formation and the top part of the Sanxianling Fm. More than four main geological sections were studied and their sequence in descending order.
