Pteridophyte Florae in Guiyang Karst Region

【Abstract】
The geographical components of pteridophyte florae in Guiyang Karst region were classified based on field survey and data analysis to know the characters of pteridophyte florae in Guiyang Karst region．The results showed that there were 301 pteridophyte species belonging to 90 genera and 39 families in Guiyang Karst region，the dominant families are Dryopte“daceae，Polypodiaceae， Athyriaceae，Thelvpteridaceae and Aspleniaceae，and the dominant genera are Asplenium，Polystichum，Dryopteris and Selaginella．The pantropical type with tropical properties was the dominant in the areal types of families and genera．While the temperate type was the dominant in the areal types of species．The results showed that floristic geographical composition of the pteridophyte in the Karst region of Guiyang was mainly temperate elements and was a part of East Asia flora．
