Diversity and Habitat of Pteridophyte Herbs in Hainan Island

【Abstract】
There are more than 100 species of pteridophyte herbs in Hainan Island．Most of them are locally common in Hainan。but 80me are l'SEe and endangered species．Many of them啪from these families，such∞Selagineilacea，Polypediaceae and Aspleniaceae．Some species have never been recorded as medicinal phnts and are only used by Li people in Hainan．Most of pteridophyte herbs grow under tropical monsoon forest and ravine rainforest while few grow in dry and lean soil．The active ingredients of these pteridophyte herbs would be extracted and analyzed，and the Ethno pteridophyte herbs in Hainan，especially by the Li people should be studied
