Atlas of Macrofungi in Xinglongshan National Nature Reserve, Gansu Province《甘肃兴隆山国家级自然保护区大型真菌图鉴（精）》分为总论和各论两部分。总论部分主要介绍了保护区的自然概况和大型真菌的物种多样性及分布特征。各论部分详细介绍了分布于保护区的266种大型真菌的中文名、学名、分类地位、形态特征、生境、采集时间与地点和红色名录评估等级，并对部分物种的经济价值、典型特征、命名原因等信息进行了必要讨论。为方便其他学者后期进一步研究，书中所有物种都引证了研究标本，多数引证标本现保存于西北师范大学微生物研究所标本室，部分标本保存于中国科学院昆明植物研究所标本馆隐花植物标本室。书末还附有参考文献、物种中文名和学名索引，方便读者使用。该书在描述物种的宏观形态特征时，子实体大小的衡量采用了学界通用的“Bas标准”，“很小”指菌盖直径小于3cm；“小型”指菌盖直径3～5cm；“中型”指菌盖直径5～9cm；“大型”指菌盖直径9～15cm；“很大”指菌盖直径大于15cm。《甘肃兴隆山国家级自然保护区大型真菌图鉴（精）》所描述的物种，依次按照其所属的“门、纲、目、科、属”的首字母顺序排列，同一属内的物种，按种加词首字母排序，以方便读者查阅使用。
