This book is a monograph systemically introducing the scientific and technological achievements from the investigation and exploration on China` s aquatic genetic resources. Totally , the scientific achievements related to 58 species of aquatic living organisms were compiled .Of these 58 species ,47 are fishes ,4 arthropods, 6 mollusks and 1reptile. The basic information files ,biological characteristics , physiological/ biochemical /gentic characteristics , aquacultural techniques and the presently conserved status of each species were well described.
