"Hymenopteran Insect Fauna of Zhejiang, China" is the first comprehensive monograph on the hymenoptera insects (excluding ants) in China, with special emphasis in the fauna of Zhejiang province. This book is comprised of two parts: General Account and Taxonomic Part. In the "General Account", the morphology, polymorphism, biology, classification and phylogeny, biogeography, research history and investigation methods are summarized in detail from our own work as well as from literature to reflect the latest achievementin the area of study of Hymenoptera. In the "Taxonomic part", in total 1684 species of 59 families of the hymenopteran wasps of Zhejiang, China are described, among them 28 species of 5 families are described as new to science. Each species is fully described, and an account of its distribution, biology, and diagnostic remarks for new species are included. Black-white illustrations of critical characters of adults or whole indices, a list of all known species of hymenopteran insects in Zhejiang province, China.
