【Introduction】

This book has introduced the development and study history, genetic type, characteristics, geologic setting and evolution of the above-mentioned landscape. In order to enrich the investigative contents, some inspection spots have been planned, including the Dujiangyan ancient water conservancy project, Wolong Giant Panda Study Center, Diexi earthquake-created dammed lakes, ancient Songpan Town, the Monument to the Red Army’s Long Match Xuebaoding-Xueshanliangzi glacial landforms, Zhangla Basin, Bao’en Temple, Standard section of the Devonian System in the Longmenshan Mountains, Doutuan Hills and Li Bai’s hometown. This book has presented systematically these scenic spots and has given in detail the investigative route, time, board and lodging places.
