Besides its notable coral atoll ecosystem. situated on the major sea route in the South China Sea. Dongsha has been a place where different cultures interact since ancient limes. presenting today a rich store of submerged cultural assets. Considering the important roleDcngshaAtoll National Park play on dispersal of marine organisms, ecological resources, strategic status on defense and transportation. history and culture. Dongsha has eamed itsclfa growing international fame. The vast ocean is the origin of all life on earth. Taiwan. surrounded by ocean possesses bountiful marine resources, which provides both directly and indirectly for our daily livelihood. Following the establishment of Dongsha Atoll National Park. the department in charge of relevant management, ""Marine National Park Headquarters"", set up the ""DongsbaManagement Station"" on Dongsha Island. This office is in charge of resources monitoring and conservation within the national park, publishing the updated research data periodically, hence introducing Dongsha Atoll National Park through various media to the mass public. This book is written in comprehensible and plain style along with enthralling vivid pictures. incorporating features of Dongsha from all aspects.
